Peterborough Folk Festival

What a great end-of-summer little concert that is outside and just nice to sit on the hill and listen to some emerging artists and some artists that close out the Saturday night as well as on Sunday early evening.

There was no festival during Covid for 2020 and 2021… so this summer marks a long time coming. I missed the 2019 festival due to being in Europe with my kids.

This year is a low-key festival… but this year… I’m really going to take it in. I want to chill in the beer garden a little and listen to some people on stage in the beer tent and I want to bring my cooler to this year’s festival and soak it in Sat and Sunday.

Some of the artists that I really enjoyed were: Dan Mangan, Bahamas, Royal Wood, Bedouin Soundclash, The Sadies, Hannah Georgas, Hollerado, Donovan Woods, The Wooden Sky, Delhi 2 Dublin, The Weather Station, My Son The Hurricane, Born Ruffians, Yukon Blonde, Reuben And The Dark, Craig Cardiff, Matthew Barber, Wilderness Of Manitoba, Joel Plaskett and Mo Kenny from Nova Scotia.

Set a yearly reminder on your phone to check the details on the current lineup and dates. You can find the Peterborough Folk Festival on Facebook and give it a like.
