In Progress – List3 | 1 of 101 | Knock My Movie List Down to 300 Titles | Flicks w/ Chips + Dips

As of August 20th, 2016 my watch list is 444 movies.

As of March 22th, 2017 my watch list is 418 movies.

This is the first task in my 101 Things To Do In A 1001 Days which I have over two years left to complete to get my list down to 300 titles.  I will do this one.  My goal is a movie every 2-3 days.  My list grows as I add titles and sometimes I take a couple away if I’ve gone completely cold on a title and would never click to watch it online.

Just wanted to have a spot where I could list some of the movies that I want to see. I like to ask people for some recommendations and I stick them in Evernote to keep track of. I will have to set it up better and bring some to the top and focus on those first. I’m sure there is 400 movies not listed. Life is long… I’ll try to list a sentence or two after I see them…

Here is a list that will grow of some of the movies that I want to watch.

To see my FULL WATCHLIST on IDMb, you can visit it here.

The movies I have watched since being separated are listed below in this blog post…

Recommended Movies are in Green and I scored it an 8 or higher.

    • Hall Pass – Rick and Fred, two husbands who are having difficulty in their marriages, are given a Hall Pass by their wives: for one week, they can do whatever they want. IMDb has it at a 5.9 and I rated it a 6 out of 10. It was funny and worth a rent one winter evening. Everyone needs a laugh.

    • The Hangover – IMDb rates it a 7.8 and I gave it a 8. Liked this movie and it’s funny. Short Fat dude with a beard is my fav. The toothless guy is also good. I’m glad that is dumped the GF and is heading back to Vegas on a Date. Will have to see part II right away and part III is out next year.
    • Junebug – IMDb rating is 7.0 and I rated it a 9. This movie I really enjoyed how Embeth Davidtz character visits North Carolina and tries to fit into her new family.

    • Life of Pi – This one was rated a 8.3 and I gave it a 7 out of 10. It had some really great visuals and it held me to my seat in parts… but at times… it was drifting for me. Worth it in the theatre more than a rent.

How they both took a chance and got off the train and hung out together for the night. I was in love with the long conversations back and forth that were uncut and it was really how people would talk as they get to know each other with the mistakes you make when talking to the opposite sex.

    • Star Wars: Episode IV (New Hope 1977): 9/10 – I watched this back in 1977 with my Brother who took me. I watched it again with my Son and it was his first Star Wars experience. • The Wolf Of Wall Street – 6/10 – Holy F-Bombs. I thought this would have been better. LC played the part well of Belfort but I’m just not into people like him and I think it turned me off. I found the movie dragging and the talk and actions were repeated in many parts. It’s a movie that is worth to see. I just thought it would have moved me more.
    • The Nut Job – 4/10 My kids loved it so that’s all that matters. I found the comedy to be so predictable and I thought it was an effort just to put a movie out. My kids thought it was awesome so that made my day when we got out of the movie.
    • Suits (TV Series) – 9/10 | A must watch. So into this. Based in NYC but shot in Toronto. Harvey Spector is the most beautiful man on earth. His clothes, voice, confidence and his hair. • Don Jon – 5/10 | Highlight of the movie was him starting to fall for a “real” woman in Julianne Moore. How her maturity calmed him and made him see life different. Other than that. It was an average movie to me.
    • Doin’ It In The Park – 9/10 – This documentary based on NYC pickup basketball was incredible. I’m so biased so I fell in love with it and just loved the way it was shot. Love the two NYC filmmakers quest to document city basketball the present and the legends of the game.

    • What Maisie Knew – 9/10 | I’m a parent… so this hit home. Part of you wants to smack Julianne Moore about what a bad parent she is. What makes this movie so awesome is that it is shot 100% through the eyes of Maisie. There is not one scene that she is not in. Really interesting to watch what the director will focus on since it’s through her mind.
