Bondi Icebergs, Bondi Australia | Sea Pool – Life In The Ocean

It would be great to be a part of this club.  For 83 years on the first Sunday of May… they open the club for the winter swimming season.  A great little doc at such a great club and a lifetime of bonding with each other as the tradition gets passed down through the years to the younger members.  I love how it takes 5 years to be in the club and you have to swim at least 3 Sunday’s of every month.  If you miss out on too many days… you are kicked out of the club for 12 months.

Below is another short about Australian ocean pool culture in Sydney. Early morning at North Narrabeen, a public pool in Sydney’s northern beaches. Getting there at 6am there were already swimmers in the winter water.  Imagine if we all could start our mornings like this.  I think the waves and the peaceful mornings would do our soul good.

Tennis | Has It Been That Long?

tumblr_ncffcfijtk1sxv4ono1_500The one good thing about watching video with you in it…

It makes you want to go to the gym more and work harder.  Much more harder.  My God.  Humbling.  Where’s my YMCA pass.  Had a chance to hit some balls with Drew who is trying to work through some pain in his legs.  He was not that mobile… and I was not floating around the court after some sore legs from ball.  We looked like two old men walking around the mall and playing ping pong.

I’m looking forward to playing more Tennis.  Need to play Adam, Zuckerberg, Ali, BA and Everyday Graeme.  I need to get ready for the senior circuit.  It was nice just to knock the ball around with Drew.  I need a new ball whacker.  Super rough edit of some video shot with the old iPod.

Keep Pushing – Skate Till You Can’t

Tuesday, June 17th, 2014

I have always had a little love affair with a skateboard.  In Grade 6… I started riding one to school everyday and back.  I carried it with me.  I was the only one at my school.  I didn’t do tricks.  I just used it to get to Point B faster.  My daughter has one.  My son wants one.   Now I want one.

When I’m Old | Like Older Than Now

1-old people-001

The other night I was talking that I want to be in a Lawn Bowling club and where all white when I’m older and play tennis and ball.  You should have more fun as you get older.  You have to have fun before you can’t walk up the stairs anymore.

minkI want buckets when I’m older.
