I played Ali Faroouqi at Tennis in the summer of 2012 and on my past 101 list… I have to play and beat him playing 3 sets.   We played 3 sets and I lost all 3 sets.  With time demands we have not had a rematch.  Always looking for people to play with.  I even purchased a new stick to hit the balls with.  I now own four raquets and balls and I’ve gone out and hit some balls and loosen up.

I’ve always had a love for Tennis and always wanted to join the Ajax Tennis Club.  I’ve also had this little plan that both my kids would have a love for the game and we could play till we are old.

I want to kick his skinny ass.

So this is on my present 101 list and it’s two fold.  One to sign up for a local Tennis Club somewhere and to also get out and play some new people and also set something with Ali in Whitby.

tumblr_ncffcfijtk1sxv4ono1_500The one good thing about watching video with you in it…

It makes you want to go to the gym more and work harder.  Much more harder.  My God.  Humbling.  Where’s my YMCA pass.  Had a chance to hit some balls with Drew who is trying to work through some pain in his legs.  He was not that mobile… and I was not floating around the court after some sore legs from ball.  We looked like two old men walking around the mall and playing ping pong.

I’m looking forward to playing more Tennis.  Need to play Adam, Zuckerberg, Ali, BA and Everyday Graeme.  I need to get ready for the senior circuit.  It was nice just to knock the ball around with Drew.  I need a new ball whacker.  Super rough edit of some video shot with the old iPod.

GF is playing in the Semi’s of the AO down under.  The AO is my second fave tourney on the WTA behind NYC when the kids go back to school. Milos, Vasek and her along with some other Canadian’s also starting to play well is pretty exciting.  It’s fun to follow Canada at the Olympics, Men’s + Women’s Soccer, Basketball and Hockey.

Her run at the AO is wild.  Wild for her confidence.  She has no fear.  She is a rookie with no expectations.  She is the underdog.

Tonight will be a great match.  Win or loose… Canadian Tennis is on the rise.  I hope many kids, middle aged and older people get out on the courts in the spring and start hitting some balls with friends and get outside, laugh, catch up, win and loose.  Just get out and play.  I will.  I have to beat Ali.  It’s on my list.
