Casey + Candace | Hell Of A Day Flying Out | Flew on The Big Lufty

Casey had a booked flight with United Airlines and after that plane was grounded and delayed… UA staff rebooked him on our airline to fly from IAH to FRA and then to VCE… where he then took off from there.

It was sweet to see him flying business class on the Airbus A380 that holds close to 600 peeps in the flying tube.  He had the upper-deck that holds 80 business pax.

In the second video you get a better understanding at his frustration in regards to having his luggage delayed as well as Candace has some coffee accidentally poured on her.  It was great to see Candace so carefree and happy just to get away from the craziness of NYC and the baby for a little vacation.  Even with no luggage she is happy and calm and you can see it in her face in the second video like a little fish being reunited with the sea.

It’s nice to see Casey stop daily vlogging after 500 and somthing straight days.  I’m sure he will capture it and he will share some stories when he gets back.  Below is the little recap video of the trip he posted after he got back and settled in to daily vlogging again.

Everyday… I watch is yesterday on his YouTube channel here.

Casey just turned 34 and for the next little while… he is going to do a post everyday with video.  I like his POV style of storytelling.  Chantal is starting to make little movies so this is some ideas for her.  Here is the first five that features his little getaway to warm weather with the fam.

That was 209 days ago.  Below is his first couple of Vlogs and right now is Oct 21st, 2015 and he is on 210 days of making a movie every day.  I find him interesting and every couple of days… I catch up on the 5 to 8 min Vlogs and see what he is up to.  He is a super busy dude that is always filming and I don’t know how he puts out one every day.  Crazy.

Nov 1st… I’ll start making my OSE videos everyday again.  😉

Some of his vlogs or older material that he has made is below:

Casey is a good dude. The man is doing daily Vlogs and over 40 in a row. This one made me smile. He is a good dude and I love that he is trying to pull off a video everyday. Catch him on YouTube here. Here he is being a good man to his wife.

As you know… I’m a fan of Casey and how he documents things using very simple methods and some neat little DYI tricks with simple things. You can hit the link on the left and see other posts of Casey and also a couple stories of him and Candice. I think the image from above is when they broke up and she agreed to meet him for coffee in NYC and this is him pulling up on his bike filming it. You can see him in the window to the right. I honestly shoot so much video now because of him.

Here is the latest…

Casey is a special cat. Loves adventure and documenting life. Loves sharing.

My mind is still turning about a tattoo + ideas of what and where.

Enjoy the day!

Sometime in 2012, I discovered a passion for filmmaking after watching Casey Neistat’s ‘Make It Count.’ In the summer of 2013, tired of my current path, I went out to pursue that passion. Not having any experience or any idea of where to begin, I naturally had a lot of questions. These would serve as the basis for my first documentary.

This was my first serious attempt at filmmaking. A friend mentioned Kickstarter to me, so I launched one (kickstarter.com/projects/1407449306/makedo-documentary) and it got funded—then it began.

On July 1, 2013 I packed up the car with my camera gear and spent the next 3 months driving around the U.S. as a one-man crew, interviewing all sorts of creative people. Some were friends, some were family, and many were strangers. The doc road trip took me from San Diego to New Orleans, from NYC to Missoula, from Seattle to LA, and everywhere in between.

Initially, I wanted to get a concrete answer to questions like, “What do people need to do to make it as a professional creative?” In post-production, the story & direction changed a bit, but ultimately, I found the answer—we just need to start. Whatever it is we want to do, just find a way to start doing it asap. Since there are many ways to do things, the path we start on may look unorthodox, but it doesn’t matter as long as we move in the direction of what we want.

A huge thanks to all my Kickstarter backers, friends & family, and of course, everyone who shared their stories with me. So many people opened up their homes and lives to me without ever meeting me beforehand. It was truly a great feeling to experience such a genuine connection with people I met for the first time.

From me…

I need to get a better camera, laptop and something like “final cut pro” and start documenting more and making films… or just simply documenting life.  Right now it’s with a iPod and iMovie that is inside the iPod.

Love Casey.  This is a cool little doc.
